United Way came to our neighborhood (along with 7 others), and wanted us to form a "rainbow coalition" (made up of all races) to better our neighborhoods. They asked for volunteers to be block captains. Each block captain keeps their neighborhood informed of community activities, problems (ie. drug activity), beautification projects,getting to know more…
